I bought this extra rod to enable my daughter to hang up and access her own clothes, and I'm pleased with the quality, adjustability, and simplicity of design. The assembly was pretty easy, although one clarification for other buyers that's not mentioned in the instructions: The openings on both ends of the horizontal rod are slightly tapered. It will slide onto the vertical rods either way, but make sure to slide the horizontal rod on with the narrower end of the tapers up. That way, when you back the rod down over the black plastic stoppers, the wider tapered ends will cover the stoppers well. (This will make a lot more sense when you start putting the thing together).

I recently moved to a very small apartment, with an even smaller "walk-in" closet...a slither-in closet in my case...and I needed a LOT more room for clothes. I looked at several but they were too small to be really useful, and I was uncertain about the stability. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received this one. It's solid commercial grade steel and very easy to assemble and install, and the lower bar height is adjustable, making it possible to hang more on the top then just sports bras (who hangs those up anyway?). There are reasonable limitations based on the height of the existing clothes rod but I feel this is more than worth the price.

Best hanging rod I've tried. We have 3 in our master closet and it saved thousands ina closet makeover. Others have sid they won't hold weight but that has not been the case for our house.
