Will fall off the door

The hanger valet works very well for jackets. I have had this item for over 5 years. I give it four stars because of the piece that fits on the opposite side of the door is very short, about half an inch. If the door is open and the arm is accidentally bumped, the hanger will fall off the door. To be safe when removing an item, the door has to be shut. Mine had fallen many times that the piece is now bent. Open the door and it will collapse to the floor. It the reason I'm reluctant to purchase another one.

Very versatile! Great organizer!

I have four of these and use them for varied purposes.#1. It fits over the door perfectly so opening and closing the door doesn't present a problem.#2. It can be used outside the door for laundry room hanging or planning your wardrobe for a trip.#3. It can be used inside the closet for extra space.#4. You can sort the items right on top of the arm or insert the hangers into the holes. Your decision.The fact that the arm swings down adds to the versatility of this product. Sometimes, you might not need the use of the arm and just want it out of the way.Personally, I use two by the washer and dryer to make laundry day more organized. I use a third inside the hall closet and pop it up when we are expecting company for added space. The fourth one is in our guest bedroom and I use it on the outside of the closet door when we are going on vacation. I keep adding garments to it and when vacation day rolls around I'm better prepared. Before, I just scrambled around and always left an important item behind. Overall, it just organizes you better!Beware... it does have its limitations! If too much weight is on the arm it will buckle and bend. I learned the hard way.

It's a very handy hanger that helps extend your closet space but be aware that too much weight will cause it to bend. So don't overload.
