Second rate

The hanger I received was second rate; the kind that would be discarded upon QC inspection. Besides being very odd, it had a crack, a large piece of cork on one of the shoulders and rough edges that could potentially rip a suit jacket. And what is with the oversized packaging? This hanger came in a box that 10 hangers could have fit in; what a waste.

Good, but should be better for this price

Cedar coat hangers. Yup. That's true. But lots of sharp edges, lots of sloppy glue joints and the pants bar is secured with drywall screws that are sometimes countersunk and sometimes not. I wouldn't put my clothes on them until I sanded down all of the edges and glue and made sure that nothing was going to snag. Inappropriate at this price point.

These are great for suits and jackets. Very wide shoulder bars, the shoulder slope is just right, relatively wide bar for the pants, the unfinished wooden surface throughout is more breathable than painted, covered or plastic would be, ridges on the pant bar makes it more non-slip, and the cedar aroma is great, although that will probably wear out pretty fast. Just a very good product.
