Before buying a garment rack, I read reviews of several products and then purchased the product with the highest reviews, despite the higher cost. I was terribly disappointed! After about two weeks, the plastic that surrounds the metal on the side of the rack we had up higher broke. So, I made that the lower side of the rack and turned it around. Then the same thing happened with that side. I resigned myself to having both sides at the same level (which is NOT ideal). But then the plastic holding the bottom of one pole, right near the wheel, broke! So now I had three poles still in the plastic base and one that had to be set on the floor. We just had to throw this away! And I did not have this terribly overloaded. There were no coats or heavy items - just tops and bottoms for a petite female hanging on plastic hangers. The problem with most of the reviews for this item (and others, anywhere things are reviewed) is that people review these before using them for any length of time. Trust me, unless you are only planning to hang up very, very small number of items, save your money!

I got a bad vibe first when I didn't get my package on time.Then I decided that I shouldn't judge something before I tested it.I put the rack together and it was simple. The rack wobbled a lot, but I thought that was because of how I put it together. I took it apart and put it together pretty well. However, the rack continued to wobble and was not stable at all (I'm a pretty decently built man, so it's definitely not because I didn't have the strength to put the pieces together).To add to this, one of the wheels just does not work. I took the brakes off and checked for anything stuck in the wheel(which there was nothing stuck there), but the wheel continued to be in a non functional state.When trying to increase the height of the rack, the grips would not hold well and the racks would just slide down to the lowest level. That's really a bother because the two sides are close together I can only hang stuff on one side because there is not enough space. To solve this issue, I wrapped duck tape around the grips and those temporarily kept the racks up.After sometime, the plastic areas around the metal tubes (which one puts there hangers on) cracked and eventually broke. To my knowledge I haven't hung up anything heavy. Just shirts and pants...This is just such a terrible product that I would never buy or look into any other products from this maker.I plan to try to get a refund or get a replacement.

The rack didn't stay up straight. It always swayed to one side, no matter how we distributed the weight. The poles also wouldn't stay at the correct height we adjusted it to - it would randomly slide down a lot. When it's set to the lowest height, it's great, but doesn't do me any good with dresses or pants that we hang.
