Spent way too much time scouring the internet looking for the "perfect" laundry rack to replace my wobbly old wood rack I bought years ago. This OXO laundry center was a bit pricey compared to the competition, but it was a brand I trusted and they did not let me down. There is enough space here to hang an entire wash load of blue jeans at once with room to spare. I love that the individual rungs slide over so I have room to load up each rung as I go. When not in use this rack folds up to easily slide next to the washing machine taking up about 1.5 inches in width

Growing up, air drying was not as fashionable as it is today, but a way of life. That said, I've always been an advocate of air drying my clothes. So taking the Oxo Drying Rack for a test run during the "dress up mode holidays" was a no brainer. After four days use these are my thoughts.Finally, there's something out there that does not have to be assembled. Right off the bat, I was surprised at the overall capacity of this rig. Measuring in at 42" x 19" x 38" and weighing in at 13lbs its balanced with or without loads. The legs lock in place. The metal frame supports an expandable rack system that prevents overlapping and helps with air flow. The rack system is made of a medium grade pvc tubing.I really had my doubts about the hanger bars advertised 50 or more capacity. I didn't quite make it to 50 but I got close. With proper spacing, air flow was no problem for drying our hanging shirts and blouses. The middle racks allowed for easy hanging of those delicate things and my ties without any major creasing problems. Unlike our older rack, I noticed absolutely no sagging. Its balanced and doesn't tip over like those cheap knockoffs.When done, storage is easy. I just folded up and stowed the unit in the laundry room until next time. This model is also outfitted with a strap that keeps the rack from popping open. Granted this Oxo drying rack is not the answer to a large family's needs. However, this rack is ideal for singles or couples that dwell in apartments and condos. This product is very well made and performs as advertised.

Love this drying rack! It is very sturdy. My old rack was always half falling over, or the little bars would come out, or clothes would be stuck in the middle and take a while to get dry. This rack will never fall over! The middle bars (where the clothes dry) are moveable - at first I thought this was odd, but now it makes total sense. You can push the bars to one end to allow some room to drape the clothes on a bar, then move the next bar over. It also allows thicker clothes or towels to be dried without squeezing them between tiny bars. The bars are sturdy and thick so they do not leave indentations in your clothes. The two wings on either side are perfect for bigger items or for items on hangers. Sweaters can be placed flat on the top of the rack and they dry quickly with such good air circulation. I never thought I'd be excited about a drying rack, but this solves so many of the annoying issues with other racks. Highly recommend!
