Product Description
Household Essentials offers premium chromed steel construction laundry room products that are not only attractive but built to withstand extra heavy use. The laundry butler is constructed of sturdy chromed steel wire and tubing and has 3-Inch industrial wheels. Two of the wheels feature wheel locks. The oversized clothing basket is taller than most for more capacity. It features a sturdy valet bar for hanging wet or dry garments and a bottom shelf for storing supplies or folded laundry. Setup dimensions are 67-1/2-Inch high by 23.625-Inch wide by 20-1/4-Inch deep. Item # 6028

This cart is a nice laundry cart - I've been using this cart for a few days and enjoy the ease in which I can transport my laundry to the laundry room on the floor in my condo building.The assembly of this product takes a little effort - not overwhelming, but the biggest challenge was reading the one page sheet of instructions - I could not believe how tiny the print was. It is easier to go to the manufacturers website and pull up the document because you can zoom in to make it easier to read and see the diagram.I was disappointed in that the two curved bars which the wheels pop into was missing a part. There is a black plastic insert in which you simply pop the wheel into and it sticks - one of these was missing so I had to call the manufacturer and have them ship me a new part which took 4 days to arrive so I could not use the product immediately.The cart can be a bit awkward to push - given it has only one bar - it would be easier if it had a handle bar similar to a grocery cart - the basket is too low to bend over and push it this way so you sort of just grab the vertical bar and drag it. The metal basket is not quite as deep as it appears in the product photo.Overall I would recommend this cart.PROS -Good QualityNice WheelsLarge BasicCONSA little awkward to steerAssembly - instruction sheet has super tiny print

The wheels are not threaded. You just insert the metal wheel posts into holes on the frame and they're held in place by the weight of the cart. However, my wood flooring is not perfectly smooth (it's grooved for an antique, hand-planed look) and the slightest imbalance would cause first one, then a second wheel to fall out. And cause the cart to fall over. If you're wondering whether trying to fit a wheel back into the underside of the cart without causing other wheels to fall out was annoying, it was.Solution: wrapping the post of each wheel with 1 or 2 layers of masking tape seems to have done the trick.

Item was shipped very quickly. Assembly took 20 minutes with tools provided. Perfect height for my pedestal Samsung 520 washer and dryer. This item is well made for a homeowner model. I modified the basket due to my concern that the steel basket would scratch my new appliances. I completly wrapped the basket with copper pipe insulation then tightly coil wrapped the insulation with nylon rope. The "bumper" is atrractive and allows contact with the appliances without concern for about $15. Future models should address this concern. Overall very happy with purchase despite my OCD modification.
