This Instant Portable Closet Hanging System Over-The-Door White - InstaHanger will provide extra clothes hanging and drying space on the back on any standard door - both indoors and outdoors. These are very nice hangers. BUT if you intend to hang this over a door without installing screws into the door you will need to orderArrow Hanger AH33/R Stainless Steel Over-Door Bracket for InstahangerThe picture accompanying this product shows the bracket.

I thought this was going to be the perfect solution for hanging wet clothes straight out of the washer, so I ordered two of these items to hang over the doors in my laundry room. I believe this is the first item from Amazon I've ever had to return. These hangers are not white, they are beige. There were no over-the-door brackets included. They do not provide 12" of hanging space as stated, but rather only about 6-7 inches. Amazon's return process is outstanding, but this product is certainly not as described.

My laundry room is very small so I have to use a lot of wall space to help me out with as much as possible. Taking clothes out of the dryer and hanging them up so they don't wrinkle was a real pain since there was no place to hang anything up while I moved to the next item--especially my husband's heavy work clothes. I was concerned this item would not hold the weight, but I was wrong. It is perfect! When I need it, I simply flip it open and start using it. It holds lots of weight; we do have it screwed into a wall stud. I bought another one to use, and have a pole that I place across the two when I have a lot of clothes to hang. When I'm done, it simply flips down flat and I have my tiny room space back. It's great!
