I just received this rack. I was surprised to see that it is a 'light duty' rack, which means it is only rated for 5lbs. It doesn't mention that anywhere on the product page. Be aware of that fact. Other than that I think it will work ok, as long as I don't overload it. It packs down pretty small approx. 12x10x2 when folded.

Got this when I added a small "in unit" washer to my apt. I was looking for an efficient way to air dry more small items and this looked like it would fit the bill. I am very pleased with it. Great little device is easy to use, folds for storage, heavy duty and holds a lot more than I imagined. You can use it over a bathtub but since my washer spins out my clothes well, I use it on my tripod drying stand and I load it up. It can easily handle a week's worth of undies, bras, socks, nighties and I have even hung towels from it. As long as you balance the load, you will have no problem and the clip that opens--really nice feature for attaching to a rod.

I bought this to air dry my baby's cloth diapers. It's perfect for this purpose. There's enough room between clips for the diapers to hang and not really touch one another. I am using it indoors right now as it's fall, but I also plan to use it outside on the line come spring/summer when the sun is out again.It's very well constructed and the hook is very strong. I foresee this lasting a good long time! I will buy another one once my baby is in larger sized diapers.
