Hinge-It Hooks and Hanger Bars by Whitney Design offer a great solution to make use of space behind any door in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, or family room. Hinge-It Hooks and Hangers are designed to mount to existing door hinges using the door hinge pin to secure them. Imagine that - no drilling required. Also Hinge-It Hooks and Hangers swivel with the door eliminating the chances of damage to the door or the wall. This H12001 Hinge-it Clutterbuster Valet is a basic design 5-bar hanger. Each bar is 19-inch long. The valet is great for extra towel hanging space. It measures 70-inch by 1-inch by 20-1/2-inch and is white in color.

Having installed another Hinge-It towel rack in my home a number of years ago, I can say that the chrome-finish model I just put up is not designed well. The four pieces that form the "backbone" fit together poorly, allowing a ridiculous amount of flex. I used electrical tape inside the joints for a snug fit, which greatly reduced the problem.Please note that the instructions are unclear, showing three different ways to install but numbering them all as one series of steps.

I was hesitant on buying this when I saw some of the reviews, but I went ahead and made the purchase. I think it's exactly what is advertised and works just great. It looks just like the picture and does just what it states. So I'm happy. If I had to be picky, I would say I'm not sure it's worth $40. Maybe more like $30. But I'm happy.To the previous reviewer that thought it was rickety...you probably didn't install it correctly. I could see how that would be possible if adjustments weren't made to the connections. But once I adjusted and tightened everything up...it's pretty sturdy.

much more complicated to install than advertised. did not fit my kinges and requires 2 drill holes into the doorway trim. am returning
