First, I was surprised when it arrived to see that it was lavendar, not white. Even with fewer than the maximum items on it, it feels a little shaky and starts to dip. We'll be installing something else to replace it.

As others have mentioned, this came not in white but a lavender color. Very disappointing and it really stands out in a kitchen or laundry room where most things are white. Looking back on it I guess you can see the lavender a little in the photo above.I took it apart and used satin Krylon Fusion for plastic spray paint to repaint it a much better shade of white. I followed the instructions on the paint and let the paint dry for seven days and everything has worked well. No chipping or scratching the paint after hanging hundreds of hangers on the rack. If you do this, be careful taking the rack apart. It is easy enough to take apart with an allen-wrench and screw driver, but there are springs and little balls inside that you don't want to lose.I mounted the unit with long screws directly into two wall studs and it isn't going anywhere although it does droop some when cloths are hung.In the end, I've made it work well but can't recommend it for new buyers any higher than 2 stars.

It not what it apeared to be. It hard to open and close. And smaller than i thought . Not worth ordering.
