Product Description
This heavy duty floor to ceiling shoe tree from Household Essentials can hold up to 36 pair of shoes. The six tiers are adjustable in height to allow different sizes of shoes. Each tier revolves to allow easy access. It also features an additional basket that can be used for accessories like belts and socks. The pole is spring loaded to allow a secure fit for an approximate 8 foot ceiling height. The base is weighted for stability. The finish is a commercial grade powder coat in satin silver. Easy assembly. It measures 12 Inches diameter x 96 Inches high. Item #2197.

After much consideration, I decided to try this shoe tree for a vertical space in my entry way. I have way too many shoes, and my 3 sons and husband each have 3 or 4 pairs they like to keep by the door as well. I did not want a storage unit for the closet since it's a small space and already full. And an over-the-door shoe hanger wasn't an option for this space either.This shoe rack holds a ton of shoes - 36 pairs. It took everything my previous rack held and has room to spare. It was very easy to set up - no tools required aside from the allen wrench included in the package. I did it myself in about 15 minutes, including loading it up with shoes.Be sure the space you choose has room around it for the shoes to move since each carousel rotates for easy location. My two concerns are :1- the clamp that holds each carousel up is made of plastic. I wonder if they will break over time with a heavy load and repeated usage2 - the individual tines that hold each pair of shoes are spaced a bit tightly. Women's shoes fit fine but men's can be crowded.Overall this design is perfect for the space I have.

Great idea, but make sure you have the correct measurement for your closet floor-ceiling. I was off on mine, but I made a fix by setting the base atop something else to close the gap. However the bigger issue was - as is usual nowadays - the screw (basic hardware application to assemble the base) was too thin to tighten in the base, so a visit to the hardware store, carrying the assembly rod with me. (I have this problem so routinely on items I have to assembly, I asked the hardware store guy why this is such an issue and he said that when it comes to customer assembly items it is routine for workers to just fill the package by grabbing whatever is on the shelf.) The purchased screw fit fine but then the washer was off, so we had to go hunting for stuff to make do. The Seller was okay on shipping the item and it arrived in good condition, but the item itself may be a slight headache.

I just bought this shoe tree, and it was perfect for my needs as I am a shoe-holic...I needed something that wouldn't take up a lot of space and preferably vertically. When I received it, it took me about twenty minutes to put together, relatively easy, although the box was deceptively heavy! It is because the base weighs a lot. However, I am pretty short (5'5") and although I could adjust the heights of each basket, I was unable to space them out properly if I wanted to get all the rings in because of my height. I would say about 5 rings would fit before I would be stretching up to get the last basket. And no way could I fit the basket on top--as it is now, I can't use it and I gave only about 4 or 5 inches in between each basket.The rings do not all move easily, some move a bit jerkily, however it can smooth out depending on how tight you placed the screws.Overall I'm pleased with it, although it is probably better suited to taller shoe fanatics :)Just in case you were wondering, I bought this on Amazon and I had seen it in SkyMall for 100 dollars, but here it was more than 30 dollars less and no tax and free shipping!
